Understanding The "Last Days" | Pastor Steve
In biblical terms, the "last days" refer to a period of time preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ and the end of the world. These are often referred to as the "end times" or the "time of the end." The concept of the "last days" is found throughout the Bible, particularly in the New Testament.
According to the Bible, the "last days" will be characterized by various signs and events, such as wars and rumors of wars, natural disasters, false prophets and false Christs, persecution of believers, and an increase in wickedness and lawlessness. These signs are often referred to as "birth pains" or "labor pains," indicating that they will increase in intensity and frequency as the time of Christ's return draws nearer.
The book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, describes in detail the events that will take place in the "last days," including the rise of a world leader known as the Antichrist, a great tribulation, and the eventual return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom on earth. However, the exact timing and sequence of these events are a matter of interpretation and debate among Christians.
